Barb has many years of dental experience as a dental assistant, a certified dental receptionist and now a patient advocate. Barb is happily married with 2 grown girls and 1 grandchild. She enjoys snowmobiling while trapping beaver in the back woods of Haliburton Highlands, boating, walking and cooking when not helping our dental patients with their needs.
Chelsea recently graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Georgian College in Barrie and joined the Georgian Dental administrative team in 2012. Her goal is to ensure all patients have an enjoyable experience at the office. Chelsea was born and raised in Orillia. When she’s not in the office she can be found spending time with family, cooking/baking, or relaxing by the fire.
Cindy grew up in Malton where she always had a desire to work in dentistry. At a young age her dentist in 1972 hired and taught her in all the aspects of being a dental assistant and office administrator. She remained with that office for 25 years. Her kind and caring and considerate nature draws people to where she works.
Conni, spelt with no “e”- graduated from the REGISTERED NURSING program at Georgian College in Barrie. Staying in the health care field, she graduated from the LEVEL II DENTAL ASSISTING program at Georgian College and worked for 6 yrs as a dental assistant. She went on to attain her diploma as a REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST at Georgian College in Orillia and has been currently working at Georgian Dental for the last 9 1/2 yrs.
Irene graduated from Georgian College in 2003 as a Dental Assistant. She has been working as a DA since then and joined Georgian Dental Orillia 3 years ago. She has learned a lot from Dr. Tan, such as CEREC crowns, Invisalign, implant systems, and other cutting-edge dental treatments. She enjoys each day working at Georgian Dental.
She is quiet, but a client-centred assistant. She will continue to provide high quality care to each of our clients.
Sandra grew up in Muskoka and graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant from Niagara College. She has worked in the dental field for more than 12 years as an Assistant, Treatment Co-ordinator and Office Administrator. She was excited to join the Georgian Dental team in 2012. It has been her pleasure getting to know all the patients of the practice as well as the new faces that come into the office. She is very proud to have won the first Georgian Dental STAR Award, voted by her co-workers at the end of last year.
